This is a 12-hour program designed for beginning Qualified Medical Evaluators and for those planning to take the California QME examination; or for those who have already passed the exam and need the 12-hour program.
The course is taught by Fred N. Lerner, D.C., Ph.D. Doctor Lerner has been teaching all types of physicians in the Worker's Compensation system how to do disability evaluation and perform narrative report writing for over 25 years. This program is designed as a primer to help physicians who are beginning in this field to properly understand their roles and responsibilities in the California Worker's Compensation system.
Participants can expect to receive full notes, flow charts, sample reports and other handouts to help them understand how to conduct a thorough med-legal evaluation yet report the information in a clear, well-organized, concise manner so that those who read the reports can find the physician's conclusions quickly and easily.
